Summary
This was the first study in people for a potential new drug called AZD4076, which is being developed for a serious liver disease called NASH. The main goal was to check if single, increasing doses of the drug were safe and well-tolerated in 40 healthy male volunteers. Researchers also measured how the drug moved through and was processed by the body.
