Summary
This early-stage study tested a new drug called AZD0780 in 81 adults with high LDL ("bad") cholesterol. Participants took AZD0780 or a placebo on top of their usual cholesterol medicines like ezetimibe or statins. The goal was to see if AZD0780 safely lowers LDL more than placebo when added to these treatments.
