New hope drug enters human testing for advanced prostate cancer

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new drug called AZD0516 for men with advanced prostate cancer that has spread. Researchers want to find the safest dose and see if the drug, given alone or with other cancer treatments, can help control the disease. The study will involve about 177 participants and will closely monitor side effects and early signs of effectiveness, like reductions in a blood marker called PSA.
