Ancient indian diet tested to ease thyroid troubles
NCT ID NCT07323706
Summary
This study is testing whether following a specific Ayurvedic (traditional Indian medicine) vegetarian diet plan can help reduce symptoms like fatigue and weight gain in people with an underactive thyroid. All 88 participants are already taking standard thyroid medication. Researchers will compare those following the special diet to those continuing their normal eating habits to see if it makes a difference in how they feel.
