Can a chatbot save lives? new tool aims to help young adults navigate inherited cancer risk

NCT ID NCT04323774

Summary

This study is testing a new online tool called AYA-RISE, which includes a chatbot and information portal, to see if it helps teenagers and young adults with inherited cancer risk syndromes. The goal is to improve how these young people and their families talk about their risk and make decisions about future screening and care. Researchers are comparing the tool to standard genetic counseling to see if it's useful and easy to use.
