New drug trial offers hope for patients with severe transplant complication

NCT ID NCT06843408

Summary

This study is testing an experimental drug called axatilimab for Chinese patients with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) that has returned or hasn't improved with standard treatments. cGVHD is a serious complication that can occur after a stem cell transplant, where the donor's immune cells attack the patient's body. The trial aims to see if axatilimab is safe and effective at controlling the disease and improving symptoms.
