Summary

This study tested whether the drug Aviptadil could help hospitalized COVID-19 patients with severe lung failure. 471 participants received either Aviptadil plus standard hospital care or a placebo plus standard care. Researchers tracked patients for 90 days to see if the drug improved recovery and survival rates.
