This observational study followed 35 adults with advanced urothelial (bladder) cancer that did not worsen after initial chemotherapy. Participants received either avelumab as first-line maintenance therapy or pembrolizumab as second-line therapy. Researchers tracked how long the cancer stayed controlled, side effects, and treatment costs over up to 12 months forward and 10 years back.
