New probe zaps lung tumors without major surgery

Summary
This study tests a flexible microwave probe that can be guided through the airways to destroy small lung cancer nodules (up to 3 cm). Ten people with stage I or II lung cancer will receive this treatment during a bronchoscopy. The goal is to see if the procedure works as planned and how much tumor tissue is killed.
