Digital avatar aims to ease anxiety in stem cell transplants

Summary

This study tests whether a supportive digital avatar can help reduce anxiety and improve quality of life for cancer patients receiving a stem cell transplant as outpatients. About 90 adults will be randomly assigned to use the avatar program or receive usual care. The goal is to make outpatient transplant more comfortable and accessible.
