Virtual coach and real helper team up to fight smoking in baltimore
NCT ID NCT07220356
Summary
This small pilot study is testing a new program to help people quit smoking. It combines a virtual coach delivered by a computer avatar with support from a real community health worker. The program also helps connect eligible participants to lung cancer screening. Researchers will see if this approach is practical and acceptable to 30 participants in a Baltimore clinic.
