Experimental drug aims to rescue kidneys and lungs in ICU patients

Summary
This study is testing whether a drug called Auxora can help hospitalized patients who suddenly develop serious kidney damage while also having severe breathing problems. About 150 patients will receive either Auxora or a placebo through daily IV infusions for five days. Researchers want to see if the drug helps patients stay alive longer without needing breathing machines or kidney dialysis.
