Nerve monitoring during kidney treatment: a new insight

NCT ID NCT06285162

First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study looks at how the body's automatic nervous system changes when ICU patients receive continuous kidney therapy to remove extra fluid. Researchers will use a special index (ANI) to measure nerve activity and see if it relates to changes in blood pressure. The goal is to better understand these reactions, not to provide a direct treatment.
