Summary
This study tested whether an automated device called FlowSure can measure urine output more accurately than the usual manual method in 75 hospitalized adults with urinary catheters. Participants were randomly assigned to either the automated device or standard manual monitoring. The goal was to see if automation improves accuracy and completeness of urine output records, which could help doctors make better decisions.
