Summary
This study tested a new feature for an automated insulin pump (closed-loop system) in 15 adults with type 1 diabetes. The feature gives a small priming dose of insulin before meals to improve blood sugar control. Researchers measured how well it kept blood sugar in a healthy range and reduced dangerous lows.
