Summary
This study tested a device called FreeO2 that automatically adjusts oxygen levels for people hospitalized with a sudden worsening of COPD. The goal was to see if it could reduce how long patients stay in the hospital compared to manual oxygen adjustments. The study was stopped early and only included 17 participants, so results are limited.
