Artificial pancreas gets a speed boost: new insulin tested for better control

NCT ID NCT05508061

Summary

This study tested if a new, faster-acting insulin works better in an automated 'artificial pancreas' system for people with type 1 diabetes. Twelve adults who already used the system tried the new insulin for 30 days and compared it to their usual insulin. The main goal was to see if the faster insulin reduced the time their blood sugar was too high.
