Robot pump for diabetes: can it make starting insulin easier?
NCT ID NCT07070830
Summary
This study tested how easy and safe it is for adults with type 2 diabetes to start using an automated insulin pump system. Fifty-six participants used the Omnipod M System, which automatically adjusts insulin, for up to 18 weeks. Researchers wanted to see if a simpler setup process with different starting insulin doses could safely help people manage their blood sugar.
