Robot vs. human: the race to freeze eggs
NCT ID NCT07197983
Summary
This study is testing a new automated machine to freeze human eggs and embryos, comparing it to the current manual method performed by lab staff. It involves 125 people undergoing fertility treatment, using only surplus eggs and embryos that would otherwise be discarded. The main goal is to see if the machine can preserve them just as well, which could help standardize the process and potentially make fertility care more accessible.
