Scientists track how autistic Children's brains process visual information differently

NCT ID NCT07384819

Summary

This study aims to understand how children with autism process visual information differently than typically developing children. Researchers will use eye-tracking technology to measure how quickly 3- and 5-year-olds with autism integrate visual details and shift attention between objects. The findings may help explain why some children with autism experience sensory sensitivity and challenges in social situations.
