Scientists scan brains to see how autism therapy works

NCT ID NCT05480605

Summary

This small pilot study aimed to understand what happens in the brain during occupational therapy for children with autism. Researchers measured brain activity and behavior in children before and after 6-8 weeks of standard therapy. The goal was to see if a child's level of engagement during therapy sessions could be linked to changes in how their brain processes sensory information.
