New hope to stop dangerous wandering in autistic kids

NCT ID NCT07194083

Summary

This study is testing a therapy called FBET to see if it can reduce dangerous wandering (elopement) in children with autism. It will involve about 50 children, aged 4 to 12, who regularly wander away from supervision. The goal is to see if this structured therapy works in real-world clinics and is better than the usual care children receive.
