Summary
This study aims to understand how common chronic pain and a condition called central sensitization are in adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) who do not have an intellectual disability. Researchers will enroll 100 adults with ASD and have them complete questionnaires about their pain, sensory sensitivity, anxiety, and quality of life. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future pain assessment and management for autistic individuals.
