Scientists build 'Living Library' of autism cells to unlock disease secrets

NCT ID NCT07427940

Summary

This study aims to understand the biological causes of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) by collecting cells from 100 children with autism. Researchers will turn these cells into specialized brain cells in the lab to study their behavior and chemical makeup. The goal is to create a shared resource for scientists to identify targets for future treatments, not to test a new therapy directly on participants.
