Study offers caregivers of profoundly autistic teens a potential lifeline for brief, crucial breaks
NCT ID NCT07059364
Summary
This study aims to help caregivers of adolescents with profound autism get short breaks from constant supervision. Caregivers will be trained to use picture-based activity schedules to help their child engage in tasks independently for longer periods. Researchers will test if this training is practical and helpful for improving life for both the teens and their families.
