First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests whether a small, FDA-cleared device placed on the ear can reduce pain and improve daily function in 240 veterans with fibromyalgia. The device sends mild electrical pulses to nerves in the ear, aiming to calm pain signals without medication. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive the real device or a sham version, and will be followed for up to 24 weeks to see if benefits last.
