Summary

This study tests a new augmented reality system called MirrARm that uses a camera and screen to create a virtual mirror of a stroke survivor's unaffected arm, making it look like their affected arm is moving. The goal is to see if this high-tech approach improves arm and hand function better than traditional mirror therapy. Thirty adults who had a stroke 3 to 12 months ago will participate in an 8-week program, with their progress measured at several points.
