Surgeons try High-Tech glasses to see inside patients during surgery
NCT ID NCT06067971
Summary
This study tested whether augmented reality technology could help surgeons during laparoscopic gynecological surgeries for conditions like uterine fibroids. Surgeons wore special glasses that displayed 3D images from preoperative scans directly onto their view of the surgical area. The research measured whether this technology made surgery easier for surgeons and helped them better visualize tumors during removal procedures.
