First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests if using augmented reality glasses can distract children and reduce their pain and anxiety during a tooth extraction. Thirty healthy children aged 6 to 8 who need a baby molar removed will be randomly assigned to wear either virtual reality or augmented reality glasses during the procedure. Researchers will measure heart rate and use special scales to rate the children's anxiety and pain levels.
