First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study explores whether playing soft sounds during sleep can help normalize brain activity and improve memory in people with schizophrenia. Researchers will compare sleep and memory performance in 70 participants (healthy adults and schizophrenia patients) during two naps—one with sounds and one without. The goal is to understand how auditory stimulation affects sleep-related memory processes.
