First seen Mar 29, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tested whether an audio instructional program about puberty could improve self-concept and healthy behaviors in teenage girls with visual impairment. 46 girls aged 12-18 from two schools in Egypt participated. The program aimed to provide accessible education about puberty and menstruation, which is often lacking for visually impaired adolescents.
