Can a simple recording stop Post-Surgery confusion in seniors?
NCT ID NCT07396532
Summary
This small pilot study is testing if a simple, personalized audio message can help prevent confusion (delirium) in older adults after hip fracture surgery. Patients listen to a 2-minute recording three times a day for three days after their operation. The main goal is to see if nurses can easily use this method in a busy hospital ward and if patients find it helpful and tolerable.
