New hope for kids with rare hormone disorder: drug may cut steroid doses

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called atumelnant in children aged 1 to 18 with classic congenital adrenal hyperplasia, a genetic condition that disrupts hormone balance. The goal is to see if the drug can safely control hormone levels and reduce the need for daily steroid medications. About 153 participants will take part in this phase 2/3 trial, which also includes a long-term follow-up period.
