NCT ID NCT04636684
First seen Jun 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 03, 2026
Summary
This study looks at heart valve tissue from 100 adults having surgery for narrowed aortic valves. Researchers want to find out how often a specific protein called ATTR amyloid builds up in the valve. This is an observational study, not a treatment, and aims to better understand the link between amyloidosis and aortic stenosis.
