Massive study aims to catch deadly heart disease earlier
NCT ID NCT07338942
Summary
This study aims to see if training doctors on a standard process helps find more cases of ATTR amyloidosis, a serious heart disease, earlier. It will enroll about 4,000 older adults in China who have heart failure and are at high risk for this condition. The main goal is to measure how many patients are correctly diagnosed after their doctors receive special training on the disease and its detection methods.
