Cold virus turned cancer hunter: first patients receive experimental treatment

NCT ID NCT06977737

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing ATTR-01, an experimental treatment made from a modified common cold virus. The virus is designed to specifically infect cancer cells and deliver an immune-boosting drug to help the body's own defenses attack the tumor. The study will first find a safe dose in adults with certain advanced solid tumors who have run out of standard treatment options.
