Summary

This study tested whether a coordinated, multi-specialty care team led by a heart rhythm specialist could better manage atrial fibrillation (AF). It involved 343 adults diagnosed with AF and aimed to reduce the amount of time patients spent in AF and prevent serious heart complications. The goal was to see if this integrated approach improved outcomes and identified barriers to optimal care.
