Are seniors taking their Stroke-Preventing pills correctly?
NCT ID NCT07242326
Summary
This study aims to understand how well adults aged 65 and older with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) in Turkey take their prescribed blood thinners. Researchers will check if the doses match official guidelines and if patients take their medication regularly. They will also track any related strokes or bleeding events and refer patients with potentially unsafe medication situations to a heart specialist on the same day.
