New heart procedure tested on everyday AFib patients
NCT ID NCT06765356
Summary
This study is testing a recently approved pulsed field ablation system for treating atrial fibrillation in typical patients seen in regular medical practice. The procedure uses electrical pulses to create scar tissue in the heart to block irregular electrical signals. Researchers will follow 275 participants for 12 months to see how safe and effective the treatment is for controlling their heart rhythm problems.
