Summary
This study observed how well a medication called Atostazet works to lower cholesterol in people 65 and older. Researchers followed 641 patients with high cholesterol for six months to see how the drug affected their cholesterol and blood sugar levels, and to check for side effects. The goal was to gather real-world information on the drug's effectiveness and safety in this older age group.
