New hope for IVF? drug trial aims to boost pregnancy success

NCT ID NCT07185230

Summary

This study is testing whether a medication called atosiban can help women with a history of failed IVF attempts have a successful pregnancy. Researchers will give atosiban or a placebo (inactive solution) to about 800 women right before a single embryo transfer to see if it improves live birth rates. The goal is to see if calming abnormal uterine contractions with this drug helps the embryo implant and grow.
