New hope for young migraine sufferers: testing a daily pill to stop headaches before they start

Summary

This study is testing whether a daily pill called atogepant can safely reduce how often children and teenagers get migraines. It will involve about 450 kids aged 6 to 17 who have frequent migraine attacks. For 12 weeks, participants will take either the study drug at a low or high dose, or a placebo (a pill with no medicine), to see which works better at preventing migraines.
