First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests if a new type of magnetic stimulation (AtMS) can reduce nerve pain caused by injury or surgery. About 180 veterans and active-duty military with chronic nerve pain will receive either AtMS, a fixed magnetic stimulation, or a sham treatment over 16 weeks. Researchers will track pain levels, mood, sleep, and daily function to see if AtMS offers better relief.
