Scraping away leg artery blockages: new procedure tested

NCT ID NCT07239089

Summary

This study is testing a minimally invasive procedure called atherectomy to remove plaque from blocked leg arteries in patients with severe circulation problems. The goal is to improve blood flow and prevent complications like pain, ulcers, or potential amputation. Researchers will compare this newer technique to traditional balloon and stent treatments to see which works better for complex blockages.
