Immune system boost tested against rare, Tough-to-Treat cancers

NCT ID NCT04458922

Summary

This study is testing whether a drug called atezolizumab can help control advanced forms of two rare cancers: chondrosarcoma (bone cancer) and clear cell sarcoma (soft tissue cancer). The drug works by helping the patient's own immune system recognize and attack the cancer cells. The trial is for patients whose cancer cannot be cured by surgery or has spread, and it aims to see if the treatment can shrink tumors and slow the disease.
