Summary
This study tested whether the immunotherapy drug atezolizumab, alone or with bevacizumab, could help control advanced alveolar soft part sarcoma, a rare cancer. It involved 63 patients with cancer that had spread and could not be removed by surgery. The main goal was to see if the treatment could shrink tumors by helping the patient's own immune system recognize and attack the cancer cells.
