New drug combo shows promise in fighting rare sarcomas

Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug atezolizumab to standard radiotherapy can improve treatment for soft tissue sarcoma. About 62 adults with operable tumors will receive the drug either before or after radiation and surgery. The goal is to see if this approach causes more tumor cells to die.
