First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This program provides individual patient access to an acellular tissue engineered vessel (ATEV) for people with vascular disease or end-stage renal disease on dialysis who have no other treatment options and cannot join a clinical study. The ATEV is a lab-made blood vessel designed to replace or bypass damaged ones. This is not a cure; it aims to control disease and improve dialysis access.
