Home therapy with nerve stimulation aims to restore arm function after stroke

NCT ID NCT05691023

Summary

This study is testing whether stroke rehabilitation paired with vagus nerve stimulation can be delivered effectively at home instead of in a clinic. It involves up to 50 people who have already had a stroke and have moderate to severe difficulty moving their arm. Participants receive therapy sessions at home from a therapist, paired with nerve stimulation, and also use a magnet to self-administer stimulation on other days.
