Could a simple At-Home swab replace the Doctor's office for cervical cancer screening?

NCT ID NCT07281430

Summary

This study is testing whether people can collect their own vaginal samples at home for HPV testing, which could make cervical cancer screening easier and more accessible. Researchers will compare the accuracy of these self-collected samples to samples collected by a doctor during a clinic visit. The goal is to provide evidence that could lead to FDA approval of at-home collection methods, helping more people get screened for cervical cancer.
